About Atlas – Indicates which version of Atlas is installed and provides an overview of the Atlas software.
Sound effects – turn Atlas sound effects on or off
Embedded Server
Server Help – Use this for help with connecting your iPhone/iPod touch to your computer via Wifi access
Server On/Off – This must be turned on to be able to access the phone from your computer via Wifi.
URL – When the Server is turned on the unique URL number for your device will be displayed.
GPS
Units – Choose between Metric and Imperial
Track Accuracy – Set the distance between points when recording a track.
Coordinates – Choose between 3 options as to how you would like coordinates displayed
Maps
Show Demo Maps – On/Off
Show Online Maps – On/Off
Show Coordinates – On/Off
Use Data Network – This should be turned off when using Atlas whenever possible as it will help conserve battery and will stop the device from hunting for a Network (not applicable for Atlas OSBG range)
Cache Map tiles – Turn to On if you want to cache tiles from OpenStreetMap, OpenCycleMap or OpenPisteMap
Search
Search Data Sources – Provides detail about the Search data sources
Debug
Use Debug Log – Normally set to off but if RouteBuddy need you to send in a bug report we may ask you to turn this on.
