Waypoint Options

Click on toolbar Waypoint icon, then click on the map to place the your new Waypoint. The base of the Waypoint flag should be placed where you want the Waypoint to be. If you are placing this on a road, remember to place this on the correct side of the carriageway otherwise a route using the waypoint may give and odd result! If you want to enter multiple Waypoints, hold down the alt key and click on the map where you want to place each Waypoint. Release the alt key before entering your last Waypoint.

Double click the Waypoint icon on the map, or on the waypoint in the Content Area list and you will be presented with the following edit panel:

Use the edit panel to:

• Give the waypoint a name
• Choose a symbol
• Add some notes
• Add an URL link

Move a Waypoint

Click on the Waypoints tab and the pane below will show all the waypoints on the current map view. Right click to highlight the Waypoint you want to move, select “show on map” then, using the Hand tool, grab the Waypoint on the map and move it to wherever you want to.

Delete a Waypoint from your Place listing

Click on the Waypoint in the Content area list and use the backspace key to delete the Waypoint. Please note that you cannot delete a Waypoint from a Content List that is produced by the using Search.
