When you purchase any of the RouteBuddy products (Application and/or Maps) you will be sent a licence email from RouteBuddy support. This contains the download link(s) for the RouteBuddyProduct(s) you have purchased together with your unique license codes.
If you have decided not to download and have paid for a DVD to be sent to you, the same license codes sent to you in this email will apply to the map files contained on the DVD
Click on “Purchases” in the Source List. You will see in the content area all of the RouteBuddy products you have installed.
Any with a Padlock sign will mean that this product is installed on the machine but unlicensed.
This is generally down to the license code being entered incorrectly (generally by typing rather than copy and paste) or more often, in the case of maps, the download of the map file not completing successfully and therefore the map will not install.
Please note that the map must be installed before you can license it.
If downloading via your usual web browser does not work then please try using an alternative such as Firefox, Camino or Safari.
If you still have difficulty and would like to receive a DVD all you need to do is go into the store again and purchase the Delivery method of your choice. These DVD should generally reach you within 5-10 working days (they will come from the U.K.).
When you have started the download don’t be tempted to click on the file until completely downloaded and, when it is complete.
You may choose to type in your User Name and License code but, because of the complexity of the code, it is prone to error and therefore much better to use the instructions above to copy and paste.
