Clicking the Hand icon on the toolbar enables you to drag the map around the screen.

Clicking the Select icon on the toolbar enable you to select an item, e.g. waypoint, track or route, for editing or, in the case of a waypoint, dragging to a new position. Having to Select the waypoint before moving it by changing to the Move tool stops it being moved inadvertently.
Ctrl+Alt+Z (Windows) Cmd+Alt+Z (Mac)
Click the Zoom icon on the toolbar to zoom in and out in the map pane.

Ctrl+Alt+U (Windows) Cmd+Alt+U (Mac)
The ruler enables you to find the distances between one or more points.
Ctrl+Alt+W (Windows) Cmd+Alt+W (Mac)
Click on the Waypoint icon to add one or multiple Waypoints to your map. Go to the How to… section of this manual for more information about how to add and edit Waypoints.
Ctrl+Alt+R (Windows) Cmd+Alt+R (Mac)
The Route icon takes you into Routing Options mode where you can add or change routes. Go to the How to… section of this manual for more information on how to plan a Route

Ctrl+F (Windows) Cmd+F (Mac)
Click the Search icon to start a search for points of interest, addresses and grid references on the map. Go to the How to… section of this manual for more information about how to search and find locations.
Ctrl+T (Windows) Cmd+T (Mac)
Some devices enable you to navigate using a real-time satellite signal from the device to the computer. Go to the How to… section of this manual for more information about how to use Navigate.
The Buy Now icon will only show in the toolbar when you have not purchased a licenced copy of the full version of RouteBuddy
The Aerial / Map icon enables you to toggle between satellite imagery and the road or topo map that you currently have enabled and showing.
Ctrl+B (Windows) Cmd+B (Mac)
Clicking the Web icon when you are looking at a RouteBuddy map will take you to the same position on your chosen web map (according to your Preference/Options settings) in your default browser.
Ctrl+E (Windows) Cmd+E (Mac)
If you have Google Earth loaded on your computer, clicking the Earth icon when you are looking at a RouteBuddy map will take you to the same position in Google Earth in your default browser.
The Filter tool allows you to refine your Address or POI search. For example, if you only want POIs containing the word “school” or addresses which have the letters “king” in them, the Filter tool will refine the search to only display waypoints which meet the filter criteria.
